As Hornby Railroad is designed for the younger modeller, there is not the detail on the locos and carrages that one would find on the standard Hornby models. The detail that has not been included are items like the steam pipes and hand rails.

A good value for money model is the R2784X Mallard which is DCC fitted. Also, have a look at the passenger rolling stock for value as well.
